Project name - Tomatoes production and processing in South-Kazakhstan region
Project location - South-Kazakhstan region, Aryss town, Ak dala village
Project essence – provision of Kazakhstan population with qualitative food products of domestic production at available prices through organization of agricultural production and processing with use of water-saving technology of drip irrigation.
Project cost – KZT 6160,5 million (33,3 million US dollars)
Production capacity - 6224 tons of ready products yearly.
Project initiator - "Zhana Ak Dala" Ltd.
Project type: operating. Company operates from 2008, founders are "ExpAgro" Ltd. (99.99%) and "Agro Invest KZT" Ltd. (0,01%). "ExpAgro" Ltd. is a second-tier subsidiary company of "KazAgro" Holding. It produces concentrate of tomato paste and fruits (apples, pears, apricots).
Readiness to share the project – till 51 %
Availability of material and technical base – agricultural lands 2700 ha as a private property including: fruit garden 170 ha, tomato-processing plant with capacity of processing 600 tons of fresh tomatoes daily (yield 79-100 tons of tomato paste daily) on Italian equipment of Rossi&Catelli, pump station with main pipeline.
Current condition on the project: deficit of own working capital due to low tempo of ready goods sale (concentrate of tomato paste). For project it is necessary:
1. To complete project development and construction of reserve water line from Aryss river with length 2.5km to connect to existing irrigation system connected to Aryss-Turkestan channel.
2. To carry out reconstruction of sewage nets of plant according to instruction of epidemiological inspection of South-Kazakhstan region.
