The Deputy Prime-Minister – the Minister of agriculture

He graduated from the Moscow economic and statistic institute with the specialty Economist-mathematician, later in the same institute he graduated from the post-graduate studies. He started his labor experience as engineer of the Scientific-research institute of automation of planning processes in Almaty city.

In different year he was a consultant of the Supreme Economic Council at the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, economic advisor of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Deputy head of the President's Administration, the Deputy Prime-Minister – the Minister of economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Akim of Kostanay, South-Kazakhstan regions and Astana city. In different periods of time he took the position of the first Deputy Prime-Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Since December 2011 and to the present time he was a chairman of executive board of "Samruk-Kazyna" JSC and a member of the Board of directors of "Samruk-Kazyna" JSC. Since 15 December 2017 by the Decree of the Head of the State he was appointed as the Deputy Prime-Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan – the Minister of agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

By the decision of the Sole shareholder of "KazAgro" National management holding" JSC in the person of the Ministry of agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated 1 February 2018 №53  he was elected as a member of the Board of directors of "KazAgro" National management holding" JSC.
