Center for assistance of microcredit organizations
Limited Liability Partnership "Center for assistance of microcredit organizations" created in 2010 by JSC "Fund for financial support of agriculture" and "MFC" (Poland).
The Center's mission:
participation in expanding access to financial services through the development of microfinance. The main tools are using in institutional strengthening of microfinance institutions and implementation of innovative approaches in microfinance, financial literacy of the population.
In 2015 the Center conducted 5 trainings on the basis of technology that was implemented from Microfinance Centre, which was attended by 22 employees from 10 microcredit organizations.
Topics of trainings:
- "Accounting for MFIs under the new law";
- "The course for loan officers";
- "Effective management of overdue loans in MFIs";
- "Diagnosis and analysis of the activities of microcredit organizations";
- "Accounting based on the international accounting standards in MCO."
Also, the Center held diagnostics of 4 microcredit organizations with the help of expert consultants that arrived in place where organizations operate, in order to improve business processes and prepare them for licensing to following issuance.
In a joint project with BG Kazakhstan "Improvement of the welfare of the population through the development of microcredit organizations" in 2015 there was a grant of $ 90 000 dollars for the best microcredit organization that participated in the project. The received funds directed to MCO potential creditors between rural entrepreneurs in Burlin district of West Kazakhstan region and the opening of a sub-office in Aksai city.
The Center gave an assistance to microcredit organizations of JSC "Fund for Financial Support of Agriculture", such as LLP "MCO" SHU ", LLP" MCO "Selhozkredit", LLP "MCO" Makhambet ", LLP" MCO "Terekta Finance" LLP "MCO" Kasipker Birlik "in developing and writing a business plan, verification and updating internal regulations and advice on the office of limited access.
In November 2015, together with ADFIMI (Association of National Development Finance Institutions in Member Countries of the Islamic Development Bank, Turkey) the Center held a seminar on Islamic social financing: microfinance and micro-takaful. The seminar was attended by about 50 people, materials and reports were presented by international, authoritative experts and practitioners in the field of Islamic finance and microfinance.
