In general, in 2017 "KazAgro" Holding" JSC (hereinafter - the Holding) allocated 266.7 billion KZT to support AIC, including 245.7 billion KZT for crediting.

FINANCING THROUGH PRIVATE FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS

 

The Holding is increasing the volume of funding of credit cooperatives (hereinafter - CC), microfinance organizations (hereinafter - MFOs), second-tier banks (hereinafter - STBs) and leasing companies. 
The volume of lending through these instruments increased from 21% in 2016 to 37% in 2017.

THE VOLUME OF THE HOLDING'S CREDITING THROUGH CC FUNDING AMOUNTED TO 51 BILLION KZT, STBS - 31 BILLION KZT, MFOS - 6.7 BILLION KZT.

Through the programs of the Holding's subsidiaries "Fund of Financial Support for Agriculture" JSC 8 thousand and 14 thousand loans were respectively provided. The average loan amounted to 11 million KZT.

The Holding's investment program is aimed at financing high-tech investment projects in AIC sector. According to the results of 2017, the Holding's portfolio included 570 projects with a total value of 376 billion KZT. Over the past year, the investment projects produced products worth 222 billion KZT. Labor productivity in these projects amounted to 2 026 thousand KZT, that is 2 times higher than the industry average.

THE SHARE OF SMALL AND MEDIUM- SIZED BUSINESSES IN TOTAL VOLUME OF FUNDING

In the frame of work on expanding the availability of credit resources for small and medium enterprises (hereinafter - SMEs), the systematic work is carried out by the Holding.

In 2017 "Agrarian Credit Corporation" JSC launched "Agroexport" program for concessional lending to export-oriented industries, within which 40 projects worth 17.5 billion KZT have been financed.

In 2017, loan originating subsidiaries of the Holding have reduced the number of required documents for loans from 91 to 59.

The growth of the Holding's share in total volume of AIC crediting in 2017 is due to direct and indirect financing of the industry's subjects.

AIC SECTOR CREDITING THROUGH THE HOLDING'S PROGRAMS ALSO INVOLVED STBS, WHICH INCREASED THE VOLUME OF STBS FUNDING BY THE HOLDING FOR THE SUBSEQUENT CREDITING OF AGRIBUSINESS ENTITIES BY 9% MORE THAN IN 2016, AND AMOUNTED TO 31 BILLION KZT.
